Searching with advanced search is not searching OCR or searchable text. In order to make it easier to find records, Advanced Search should use OCR and searchable text.

The newest version of hyku has ORC searchable on collections. Lea Ann did this work in Pals and then contributed it back to the community with hyku 5.0.
