Bioformats 5 #10

When are you planning to switch to Bioformat 5 ?

I tried to use latest imagej and ome-formats build with loci_tools.jar and ome-xml.jar compiled from develop bioformats branch and it fails to load.

If I use a build coming from dev_4_4 bioformats branch, it works.

I will posterror message I have with develop branch later.

The bio-formats dependency versions are based on what's used in pom-scijava. Since Bio-Formats 5.0.0 was just released, I imagine we will switch over soon.

Note that we want to maintain consistent with the Bio-Formats being used in Fiji, so these changes go beyond just OME-Formats (and thus require extra work). It's definitely work we want to do! :) Just explaining why we didn't just switch immediately to BF 5.

As announced on the ImageJ mailing list, we will switch to Bio-Formats 5.0.0 very soon. Hopefully today, actually.

As an aside, note that the library is called "OME Bio-Formats" and not "Bioformat"
