Unable to build jedai-core - missing dependencies #21

Hi,

I'm unable to build the project. The following dependencies can't be found :

The first one can't be found, the two others seems to be on an unreachable repository http://backend1.scify.org:60004/artifactory/pub-release-local

Hi,

can you try the following?

(after cloning or cleaning the project)

cd path/to/project/
git pull
git submodule update --init
mvn clean package

The repository URL seems fine here when issuing a curl http://backend1.scify.org:60004/artifactory/pub-release-local/. Please verify that you get output from this URL.

Note: while I think the error was due to -U trigger, it exposed another error, which was a missing .xml file in the jedai-ui submodule. That's why you need to -at least for now- checkout the master branch for the submodule.

[edit]: pushed a fix to bump the submodule commit id, so it should be good. [edit2]: removed unwanted path change

I'm having this problem as well when behind the workplace firewall. Any chance on utilizing Maven Central for hosting instead?

@allan-shoup and @nsveli, what is the output of curl http://backend1.scify.org:60004/artifactory/pub-release-local/ ?

Maybe you meant to open a new issue for another problem? This concerns dependency resolving.

We have begun the process for uploading the needed artifacts to maven central.

Closing this issue in favor of #22
