Super minor but still needed #200

you might hate me for this but.. can we add a .gitignor file and have it set up to ignore the .DS_STORE files seeing that people do use macs and macs have a reason for them but they aren't really part of the project and it is just adding wasted space is it not?

Yeah, that's fine. I've been trying to find a way to get rid of them too.
