In this PR I made some small changes to improve documentation.

Changes in doc/conf.py:

fixed #56 by changing the sphinx extension from matplotlib.sphinxext.ipython_directive to IPython.sphinxext.ipython_directive
changed html theme to sphinx_rtd_theme (exception handling copied from iminuit)

Other changes:

deleted old html theme
fixed miss formatting like https://github.com/iminuit/iminuit/issues/151 mostly due to indentation errors.
added draw_residual methods to doc/api.rst

Diff looks good to me -> merging this now.

I didn't try this locally yet ... I will later today in master and let's see if this fixes the docs build on RTD.
