Unable to register OTP #8

Using the app combined with the Google Authenticator just results in an error by DuOTP DuOTP: There was an error. Steps to reproduce:

LineageOS 19 (Android 12), no google services
In Duo device manager, add a device using the tablet option
Open Duo Mobile to connect to the account shows Duo Mobile and DuOTP as possible apps
Selecting DuOTP results in the previously mentioned error

Any help on this?

Same issue. Did you ever solve it?

I've tried FreeOTP+ and Aegis. Neither work.
