chimera button problem for SetOfVolumes #157

Open azazellochg opened 4 years ago

azazellochg commented 4 years ago
  1. Open a setofvolumes
  2. Click on any vol
  3. Press chimera button

It opens and closes.

Reason: wrong filename I think, since it prints:

/home/azazello/soft/scipion3/software/em/chimerax-1.1/bin/ChimeraX /home/azazello/ScipionUserData/projects/TestImportVolumes/1@Runs/000344_ProtImportVolumes/extra/import_relion_volumes.mrc

Feel free to transfer to the correct repo.

Is more a java one but I'll leave it here.

This is related to having a stack of volumes in the same MRC. Sort of some tests, which software creates this format?

pconesa commented 3 years ago

I think this is fixed now?

azazellochg commented 3 years ago

I'll check this soon

azazellochg commented 3 years ago

No, it's not fixed. I'm getting error: No such file/path: /home/gsharov/ScipionUserData/projects/TestImportVolumes/3@Runs/000287_ProtImportVolumes/extra/import_relion_volumes.mrc

azazellochg commented 3 years ago

It appears someone has created mrc file with a stack of 3d volumes in this import test.

pconesa commented 3 years ago

Does any software nowadays generate this stack of volumes you are aware of? Not me.

Not that I know of. Though MRC 2014 does define 3d volume stacks using ISPG + MZ header fields this was never really adopted. Eman/hdf and Imagic can handle volume stacks but that's not mrc.
