Manipulate data with simple and readable commands using the sentence-like syntax of the Tidyverse. R is a statistical and functional programming language, popular for data science. The Tidyverse builds on R and replaces many components with similar but improved versions that make Data Science even easier. This workshop will focus on the "Grammar of Data Manipulation" in the dplyr package.
Requirements
No knowledge of R or programming necessary, but previous "Into the Tidyverse" workshops will be helpful.
Requirements: A laptop with a recent version of R and RStudio (Free).
About the facilitator
Instructor: Jason Spence
Jason is an undergraduate honours student in the Biological Sciences at SFU with an interest in Data Science and Computational Biology, and has been improving data workflows for the past five years.
