indicate item type (code/lib/link) for items

Currently, I find the items promoted on the front page (Recently changed / Most viewed) not optimal. How about indicating with something like [code] or [link] what kind of item it is? Like this:

• [link] pyblocksim
• [code] newgreatsnippet
• [lib] calculating whatever

When I'm looking for some code example, I am often (not positively) surprised when an item is actually a link to a webpage ...

Great idea! Perhaps a different icon infront of the words, rather than text? A smaller version of the 3 icons used in the 3 buttons? I'm a bit constrained for time these days, but I'll try to do this soon.

yes, icons are always nice. in principle smaller versions of the 3 icons used in the buttons should be enough for now (that is, until the site's design gets finalized). Also, helps to save time.

The front page is changed. Each submission's type is identified using an Image
