v1.0.0:SD_WU_? if metadata extractor is not enabled, 'metadata..' option for a file should not be available. #24

'Metadata' option should be available only to those files where appropriate plugin is available.

Not sure what exactly you mean here. Does this mean:

1) The "Extract metadata" option should only be available for file types from which SciDrive can indeed extract metadata? -or- 2) The "Extract metadata" option should only appear if the user has already enabled the right plugin(s)?

If it's the second, this could be a problem for users, who may not know that it is even possible to extract metadata without that option.

Regardless, this is a documentation issue; tagging as such.

I didn't give much thought about it. Just wanted to raise an issue for improvement for future release.

Concerning your question: probably it needs to communicate users both how to enable metadata extraction option and if so this option is available to which file types. And possible other things I cannot think of right now.

Metadata is not only showing extracted metadata, that's any metadata set for a file
