user has to press F5 (refresh) to get to http://scitest09.pha.jhu.edu/scidrive/scidrive.html

Do we plan to support IE in the sciserver_v1_1_0 release at the end of August? If so, this is a bug to be fixed.

If not, this is a documentation issue for sciserver_v1_1_0, and then an enhancement for v_next.
