A new SSE connection to http://preprod.scidrive.org/vospace-2.0/updates/... is opened every time a user switches from single-panel to two-panel view. When he switches back to single-panel view, that connection is not closed. Accumulating SSE connections will eventually cause all other HTTP requests to hang.
