Characters & and ; for example. Uploads works, but trying to download such a file results in bad request. If the filename has valid HTML entities like > & etc. as parts of its name, they are replaced with corresponding literals in the file panel.
This is essentially a generalization of https://github.com/sciserver/scidrive-ui/issues/67 which I will close.
