Error creating rss parser for... #211

Running: TW-X/0.8.6 (Linux 3.0.0-14-generic i686)

For a few days TWx won't get new feeds, instead it gives me the above error. 
Neither turning on verbose mode nor googling had any effect, any help please?

can you test on the console running the rss_dl.php by hand?

It didn't work back then (failed with the same error message) but meanwhile it 
works again. I reinstalled apache and php.
