Compiling on Windows using AppVeyor fails with multiple definition errors.

Hi, I am afraid to admit that no, no progress. And worse, to be honest, you are on your own with this one as I since recently do not even have a windows machine anymore. I am, however, happy to entertain a PR if you find the solution.

I'd advise to investigate a more mature solution that offers better support for windows.

Haven't found any reasonable replacement but we'll reassess. Thanks for the feedback and support so far.
