Enhancement Request: Categorize / Sort games by Genres and Search Games by Name #479

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I believe these features are presently unavailable on all of the versions of
CoverFloader.
2.
3.

What should happen? What happens instead?
It would be ideal if it were possible to view a menu that allowed you to choose
a Genre of game "Sports game" "FPS" "Mini games" etc that then showed only
games matching that tag or description (it would make sense to allow games to
have multiple tags or descriptions). For those of us fortunate enough to have
many games, it becomes a bit difficult to scroll through them all - even when
viewing as a grid.

Secondly, and along the same lines (of finding the desired game more quickly),
allowing users to punch in the beginning of a game title to search for the game
would be a very nice addition. This would ideally be similar to iTunes and the
recent Google Instant (where the results change as the search is inputted) but
even requiring a "Go" or "search" button would still be nice. for example a
user could type "rock band" to see their rock band games collection, instead of
having to scroll to find it.

What version of CoverFloader? What cIOS version? What SystemMenu version?

Please provide any additional information below.
I think this is already great software. I hope features can be added in the
near future, but i understand if there are more pressing issues.

Thanks for considering it in any event.

I Think I will add this, I'm going to set it up for now to use the nunchuck,
and when you move the nunchuck in any direction a box will come up allowing you
to select a genre...

Very much like the interface for weapon select in FPS console games. (Think a
big circle where each direction of the nun-chuck would select a different
filter set).

We can use a similar interface for assigning a game to a particular category.
