Wii freezes with a black screen after HBC loads the app #485

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.turn on wii
2.start HBC
3.Load CoverFloader

What should happen? What happens instead?
CoverFloader should load
Instead, a black screen appears and wii freezes

What version of CoverFloader? What cIOS version? What SystemMenu version?
CoverFloader:v1.2
cIOS:BootMii 0.8
SystemMenu:4.3U

Please provide any additional information below.
I cannot get a copy of cIOS rev21 because there is no wi-fi on my wii

Not that it will help the black screen issue but the cIOS rev21 can be 
installed without wi-fi.
Just download and put the ISO58-64-v6175.wad on the root of your SC card then 
run cIOSX_rev21-Installer.

It's how I got it run.

I too have this issue. 

I have Coverfloader Beta 5, but also version 1.4 and neither will boot. 
It's the only program I'm interested in homebrewing, so...

I have cIOSX rev 20, which I'm pretty sure I installed correctly, it says I 
did. But it just goes blank. Please help.
