The package should be installable, e.g. with setup.py script. But there is no 
setup.py script for it.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Python 2.5 through 3.3 on Windows XP SP3 32-bit.

Adding a setup.py is in my TODO list but I didn't have time to do it.
If you have a patch, I'll happily apply it ;-)
