9 years ago the same style of fix works on Windows as well, the directory is something like AppData\Local\Temp\pipbuild[username]\bottle

9 years ago the same style of fix works on Windows as well, the directory is something like AppData\Local\Temp\pipbuild[username]\bottle
when installing, could not create directory /tmp/pip_build_root/bottle solution: sudo mkdir -p /tmp/pip_build_root/bottle
