Can't use ESP8266 on college wifi. Alternatives? #290

Hello, I am in a University environment where I cannot use wifi devices like the ESP8266. I know it's possible with a pi, but I only have an Arduino Uno at the moment. Is there any way to run this with an Arduino Uno even if it has to be wired to my pc? Thanks!
