Thunderbird extension? #1

This would be a nice drop in for the Thunderbird chat :)

@poVoq This is a great idea! Though I don't see oauth as part of the api (needed for login) https://thunderbird-webextensions.readthedocs.io/en/latest/search.html?q=oauth&check_keywords=yes&area=default

Do you? I'd be happy to do this if the functionality was there.

I would love to be able to use Mattermost in Thunderbird! @scottleedavis, it seems to me that OAuth was added in TB 78, which was already out as beta in Sept 2019, but officially released only in July 2020. Do you think it would now be possible to add this functionality?

I'll verify with mattermost the status of thunderbird & mm interoperability.
