Requesting functionality be added to ignore given file extentions or even whole file names in the case of bios from being added to steam.

Take a look at Scottrice's answer on Issue #173, this might solve your problem.

@mmarchini nailed it. Just specify the extensions you want to use with 'extensions=' in consoles.txt.
