The grid images site is not working #452

Open max207 opened 7 years ago

max207 commented 7 years ago

Only appears Config Error: '[Grid Images] Source || The source of game images is unavailable. '

vereis commented 7 years ago

Consolegrid is down. The domain expired. This is a duplicate of #464 You can change your image source to "retrogaming.cloud/api/v1/game/mostPopular" and it ought to be fine.

http://retrogaming.cloud/api/v1/game/mostPopular not work for me

vereis commented 7 years ago

Works for me. What exactly is happening? Please ensure your ROMs are named the same as you can find on the site itself? This has been an inconvenience for me in the past too.

There was a problem with '[Grid Images] Source' in config.txt The source of game images is unavailable. this is the message i get when i use that config

No fix yet for this?

If anyone else runs into this, on my end the issue was parenthesis in the rom name. Console Grid was able to work around it but with the new, just remove any brackets and have it as the actual game name.

Personally, I'm just using SteamRomManager instead. Shame it's (as far as I know) GUI only, but its pretty easy to setup and use.
