We only discovered this because it suddenly occurred on one of our client sites, they had posted 2 videos to Instagram causing only 4 images to appear on their homepage.
The way the code is written is that the videos are filtered out AFTER the list has been 'sliced' down to only 6.
I have already written a fix and confirm it works, so I'm putting together a PR right now.
