Name: Ocholoco
Account Name: Bilbo79
Map & Area: Stratholme, on the DEAD side of the instance
How to replicate the bug: Just clear gargoyles and content as you normally would on this side
What happens:
a) Rockwing Gargoyles / Screechers - The respawn rate is about 15-30 minutes on them. Which is a bit too fast, as it should be 30. There are more than 7-8 of them. There are more gargoyles than can be marked up. It forces you to look for them always, like PVP, because they just pop up at any odd time.
Note: I realize this is probably trivial for pro's who have done this at 60 a bunch. They just zip right by and never look back. But for 56-57 trying to slowly learn the place, this is kind of odd having these guys continually respawning and flying over 2-3 of their own corpses to hit you up during boss fights. I have a screen shot of 2 of them (unlooted, hoping that would slow them down). One killed right before pulling Maleki, and one that appeared right after the kill. Really odd.
Note: OK, regarding the gargoyles, I got around to marking them up individually. And after watching them respawn, it appears that there are 8+ gargoyles that cycle, and NOT the same gargoyles. What that means, I think, is that they are in fact on the fast respawn timer. But there are 2x as many of them as there should be. If you beat down all of them, you will eventually get the ones with the raid markers on them respawning again. More feedback, after more runs. But that is all we have for now.
What should happen:
a) Gargoyle should always be up to torment the group. Sounds fun in theory, but in practice it makes clearing Zigs a PITA.
Located on WoWHead Map (if applicable): In Stratholme, on the DEAD side
Source (proof, if applicable): Personal Experience
Extra Information:
QQ inc - Haha, our group has wiped 6 times in the last 1.5 hours on the dead side, and every single time it was to a gargoyle which we had already killed. Ha! We are only now on Maleki, and it feels like we have spent more time going corpse runs than actual instance. Boo hoo! :)
