We have been reminded by one of our volunteers that there may be people involved with the NGOs who are not be very internet literate, so we hope to have a very straight forward interface that even older volunteers with the NGOs will be able to understand and use. ;-)

that logo has a big red cross in the middle of it. Are other NGOs going to take offense at that?

Since no one else is biting on this one, I'm going to go ahead and start working on some UI issues. If anyone from NorCal (or anywhere, I just know there were SV UI people looking for projects) wants in on this, I don't mind collaborating or passing it on.

We've got a design for the search bar, and some cleaning up the front page to accommodate our changes and additions ready to go once we have fresh eyes. Petevg is working on the css for this.
