Root folder selection widget unclear as to which folder is selected

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Attempt to pick the game root folder (~/Freespace) from the basic settings tab.

2. Dialog box instantly reapears, asking for the folder again.
3. This message appears in the statusbar and also in wxlauncher.log: 13003031005:WARN :Folder does not have any supported executables What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Several executables exist including ~/Freespace/fs2_open_3.6.15 Freespace launches when run directly, from a shell script, or using the old Yet Another Launcher. What version of the wxLauncher are you using: Latest Source from repository What version of fs2_open: 3.6.15 What operating system and version: Arch Linux

Well, admittedly it is a bit confusing. There's not much we can do it about, though, besides the ideas mentioned later in that thread. I'll accept this as an issue to remind myself to implement one or more of the ideas there.
