Randomly throws away names #7

I add my "Jerry's retreat" list of 51 names, and it randomly ignores most of them showing only 13 in the text entry box.

This turned out to be it not coping with Unicode - now fixed to at least handle UTF-8, which is what the browser should be passing through.
