Mac app crashes when EV3 battery removed #138

Expected Behavior

Scratch Link never crashes

Actual Behavior

On mac, if you connect to an EV3, and remove the battery from the EV3, the disconnect alert will be correctly triggered, but Scratch Link crashes silently.

Note that it does NOT crash if you power down the EV3 using its buttons.

I don't know if the crash happens on Windows.

Operating System and Browser

Mac OS 10.13.6 Chrome 75
