Would it be possible (or is it already possible) for a new document to be set to open with a certain number of blank lines already present?
I typically use text programs to write QC notes, which involves a lot of copying and pasting, followed by an additional comment after what I've pasted. So the first thing I usually do when opening a file is to bang out a bunch of blank lines to make room for myself. If I could have 40 empty lines when I open a new document to begin with, it would be a nice little dose of convenience.

(obviously this is a low priority request.)
