Some files will start playing slower but then recover normal speed as they go on #26

This bug is both difficult to describe and difficult to reproduce. I think I recall observing it on the Score plugin as well, which may indicate an underlying issue with the library.

Some files that start with a fast tempo play at a slower pace but will "catch up" as playback continues. When rewound or looped, the initial sections are played back at normal speed.

Even when this is observed on a file, it is not always reproducible using the same one. However, fast-paced video game MIDIs are great for testing these (e.g. : battle themes from Mega Man Battle Network tend to exhibit this behavior).

Note : If I remember correctly, this is also a problem in the score addon.

Having tested the MFP on its scrime-apps production environment, this may actually be an issue with my machine (and maybe others..?). It would be useful to know if it happens in other development environments.
