Empty file extension appears as "." file extension #225

Can I have no file extension not even "." to use nvALT with https://github.com/danchoi/soywiki ?

You can delete your file extensions provided you also set the appropriate Mac OS file type. However NV will still re-add the default file extension upon saving.

Also keep in mind that I'm maintaining NV — not nvALT. All changes, bug-fixes, and improvements I make in NV can be integrated into nvALT only after the fact by that fork's respective authors.

I hope that shouldn't be hard to implement saving files with "" extension in case when default extension is set to none. By the way check mark doesn't work for empty extensions, so now only way to do it is to remove and recreate all extensions.
