Simplenote sync error - Deleting notes fails #317

I recently tried to clean out my notes in NV. I deleted several notes altogether, but then I get this error in the sync notification: 

Simplenote
Error: Deleting 1 note(s) failed

I tried completely uninstalling NV, then reinstalling and syncing with Simplenote to re-populate/download my notes. Following this, NV still gives a sync error when I delete a note from NV.

I'm having the same issue. Started having some sync issues in the last 24 hours. Initially was getting near duplicate versions of the same note appearing twice, now having the same non-deleting issue as the user above.

I also noticed duplicates in Simplenote. Sometimes a note would be duplicated as many as 4 times.

Additionally, this morning when I opened NV again, it was able to connect to Simplenote, and NV prompted me that the two were out of sync. I chose to have NV delete my notes and replace them with those from Simplenote. NV accomplished this without any apparent problems. I then tried to modify a note in NV and it immediately failed a sync with Simplenote.

Yup, me too. When I open NV on my Mac, I am getting an error message saying the notes are out of sync and I should merge, replace or keep my NV notes.

Same here :-(

Actually creating a note in NV does not sync it anymore. Funny thing is that when one creates a note in SimpleNote and let it sync and then edit in NV it works.

You're going to need to contact Simplenote about these errors.

Huh? How could I miss that one? Thanks a lot for pointing this out. We will wait and hopefully get everything back.
