7 years ago This has been implemented. For example, a direct link will now show a styled view of the model:

Furthermore the direct link can be easily obtained from the bottom of any model:
Make direct model links e.g.: https://neuroml-db.org/model_info?model_id=NMLSY000223 look similar to what's visible when a model is opened from the search results
