wallet79 addresses solutions to a variety of real-world challenges:
Personal data sovereignty: wallet79 empowers users to control their personal data, stored in a decentralized personal vault on their mobile devices. This addresses the critical issue of data ownership
Transparency in data access: wallet79 mitigates the issue of unclear third-party data access by ensuring transparency and accountability
Fairness in applications: wallet79 curbs discrimination in job, education, and loan applications. It calculates and only communicates match numbers to providers, withholding personal information until the provider expresses interest in an interview or potential offer. This ensures users maintain control over their personal information
privacy-preserving smart contracts: wallet79 facilitates the creation of verifiable, privacy-focused smart contracts in areas such as recruitment, education, and credit scoring. This enhances trust and transparency in these significant fields
Project description
wallet79 is a unique job, education, and financial matching platform. Whereas matching is mostly done based on a singular dimension, wallet79 uses a multi-dimensional approach by looking at a person's financial, human, and social capital. The underlying theory is developed by Prof. Steef Peters (elementary physics) and Prof. Karen Stephenson (quantum chemistry & anthropology) who have extensive experience and knowledge of Network Field Theory and Social Network Analyses. The underlying theory is peer-reviewed and can be found here.
Based on personal information, stored on the person's mobile device (personal vault) and therefore decentralized, our algorithm produces
personal job scoring,
education scoring,
trust scoring,
and credit scoring
These scores are used to match the person with vacancies, educational courses, and financial providers. The matching numbers are privately calculated on the mobile device, and only shared upon approval of the user.
We comply with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and would like to make use of secret smart contracts that are generated between the user and provider. The contracts should be able to contain the following data:
The identification plus the result of the authentication of the parties involved
Date the contract was signed by each party
Duration of the contract
Purpose of the contract like "interview", "loan" or others
List of data that has been exchanged (traded) or for which access is granted
List of conditions like notifications to the owner when a party has accessed the data
Value to Secret Network
Privacy-preserving matching: wallet79 aligns with Secret Network's privacy-first vision. Utilizing Secret Network's privacy-preserving smart contracts will enhance wallet79's commitment to ensuring privacy in the job, education, and financial matching process
Enhanced trust: by integrating with Secret Network, wallet79 can further increase trust in the platform by ensuring that users' qualifications are securely and privately shared, while each party can always validate the time and conditions of the contracts they have entered
Expansion of Secret Network's ecosystem: wallet79 adds a unique service to the Secret Network's ecosystem, further diversifying the types of decentralized applications that leverage the network
Strong use case: matching people with job, education, and financial opportunities provides a unique and compelling use case for privacy-preserving smart contracts
Implementation feasibility: wallet79 is already a functioning application. This means that the Secret Network would not be supporting a nascent project, but rather one that has already demonstrated its feasibility and demand
Existing partnerships: wallet79 has established partnerships with several commercial entities among Europe's largest IT staffing and recruiting agencies and online education providers in the Benelux, interested in utilizing wallet79's matching engine. These partnerships could potentially bring a substantial number of new users to the Secret Network, increasing its visibility, influence, and utility
Timeline
Go to market plan and commercialization
We plan to go live with at least 3 partners in Q4, 2023 starting with job and educational matching. Financial matching will be rolled out in Q1, 2024. The partnerships we have formed so far are:
wallet79 is part of an "Integral Skills Passport" experiment with one of The Netherlands' largest IT staffing and recruitment agencies. The results of the experiment will be shared with the Social Economic Council and the Dutch Ministry. The project is to show off wallet79's capabilities for job and education matching
wallet79 is currently negotiating contracts with SkillsTown, part of the Benelux' largest provider of online education to offer educational courses for education matching
wallet79 has a partnership intent with Aditi, an IT staffing company in Phnom Penh, for job matching
wallet79 has a partnership intent with HR First, a recruitment company in Phnom Penh, for job matching
wallet79 has a partnership intent with undisclosed banks in Cambodia for financial matching
