Catalyze - Web3 Alternative to Discord - In Beta - Port Grant #79

We are submitting this grant request to port Catalyze (https://catalyze.one) to Secret. Catalyze is a web3 platform (built with Rust) designed to provide web3 and web2 communities a secure, immutable, and scalable alternative to Discord. It has been designed to have a cleaner and more integrated UX/UI providing a better UX than a Discord or Telegram. It also has a novel tokenomics model which will incentivize and drive engagement with its community members.

What is also interesting about Catalyze is the chat engine is backwards compatible with Discord, Telegram, Slack and WhatsApp. Meaning we can support real time 2way comms between those platforms and Catalyze making migration of large communities from web2 less painful and more likely.

Finally we have also developed a novel storage system to handle the volume of data that SocialFI apps like Catalyze will generate. This solution can also be scaled out as a stand alone offering at a later date.

Currently Catalyze is in closed beta on the Dfinity Internet Computer. Beta URL provided upon request.

Since our goal is to make Catalyze a mass adoption/multi chain solution we have targeted SCRT as a great partner given that it is based on Cosmos and is so heavily focused on security.
