4 years ago if anyone else has this issue was simply a matter of going to start menu, searching windows for "Folder Options" --> View --> Hide extensions for known file types (uncheck).
hello, for some reason the .yml file I downloaded form the install documentation page has a .txt file ending when I run the dir command from Anaconda prompt. This is leading to an error being thrown when I go to install the .yml file because the file cannot be found due to the .txt ending. I can't rename the file anything else because it always has a .txt ending no matter what I do and when I try to install with the .txt ending attached I get another error. Has anyone ever had this happen to them before? I am trapped on an island, please help.
