some ui fixes

partially fixed some ui behavior, including

• x+y forces
• clear filter view partially fixed
• removing mouse event from labels which were otherwise bogging down selection
• lightened salience of low-paper nodes

Sorry didn't realize I wasn't on master when I made these changes, they're pretty self contained though so feel free to use any you like
