Description
In some cases a user will request content that, while approved, will be impossible to fulfill. The request will remain in a Requested state forever. Deleting the request is destructive to history and may leave the user confused or simply re-requesting the media.
Desired Behavior
In the case that an admin knows the request will never be fulfilled, it would be nice to have a management option to mark the request as such (ie. ‘Failed to Find’ as an example) perhaps with the ability to write an optional short explanation why. It could even send the user an email with the request status change and reason.
Alternatively, a simpler method may be to just allow a request to go from Requested -> Rejected
