2 years ago Hi, thanks for your interest in this application! I looked at your changes and I think in the current state it will not work, I see at least the following problems:
- You are adding a new C++ file but did not add it to the build (you need to edit the Makefile so your code is compiled with the project: https://github.com/scythx/Maps/blob/master/Makefile#L23 )
- This is an application for Haiku, but the code you added is from a Qt application. The two are not compatible and will not work together.
- Your code does not interact in any way with other parts of the project, so it will not change the behavior of the application in any way in its current state
If you are interested in contributing to Haiku applications, that's great, but I suggest starting with setting up Haiku on your computer (a real one or a virtual machine) and compiling and running the application there.
