If this already exists and I have missed it please scratch this request. I use Reason and Ableton as DAWs so this may exist?
I build my own MIDI controllers. It would be great to have a MIDI continuous controllers and control changes custom specified by the user, for each knob or switch in the VST. Knobs--continuous controllers switches--control changes.
Finally perhaps include a previous and next button for the profile slot and the IR slot both of which selecting the next or previous setting via control changes would be great.
Perhaps have a midi learn function for both and get the controller from when one uses the MIDI controller.
Considering not everyone will make profiles like myself (I very sad to say, sold my Marshall 1971 plexi and 1973 plexi way before this tech came along 😔), and will want to possibly wade through a lot of profiles finding their sound, making parameters tweakable this way could certainly speed that up.
It would also be good to add the possibility to have multiple 'patches' and change them using the MIDI Program Change (PC) feature.
For example:
And switch through them using MIDI PC 00, PC01, PC02.
Thank you for the great work. Very excited about this project.
