SME confirm a new table will be published on October 2nd.
The table referenced below is our main CCHS indicator table, which was designed for the survey as of 2015, which did cover 12+. However, for 2023, the survey has eliminated coverage of youth and will be adult (18+) only going forward. To assist users with the trend, we did introduce the 18+ total for 2022 when we released last year, but left all of the youth estimates and footnote definitions as “population aged 12 and older…”. This was a bit confusing for some users and so we have decided to rebuild the whole table and will be releasing a new CCHS main indicators table at the time of the release of the 2023 cycle, which will be produced to cover 2015 to 2022 for the adult population. The release date is October 2nd. When the new table is published, it will be under 13-10-0905.
