From SM:
Current source: The Daily — Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies, 2012. Is there a more recent one available or is this the best one?
Nope, that’s the best one!
Source doesn't provide the numbers reported in the GIF - there is data for % of population with literacy levels greater than Level 3 but the national indicator definition is to report on levels greater than 2.
Is it possible to change the indicator reporting to levels greater than 3 so that we can use the source recommended by SM? Alternatively, we could report proportion of population with proficiency scores higher than 226 (Level 2) to be consistent with this report published by SM.
Note: Raw data from the PIAAC is difficult to find. OECD public use data file link is broken, StatCan archived all microdata files previously available. Might need to follow up with SM about how to access the data/if we need a custom tabulation.
