FLOAT problems #345

Into now float attr worked properly for me, but today, while i was building a 
report system i needed to use FLOAT on a DIV without setting DIV's width. And 
guess what? Didn't work. 
It works if a create tables after tables instead the divs, or if a set the 
width of each DIV, but my content does not have a defined size so i can't 
define it. 
In HTML floatting div's adjust their width with it's contents, but in my case 
its not happening.
 Is there anything i could do?
