safari spits out pdf.html as pdf file type

I am not able to get a pdf downloaded using safari it spits out 
example.pdf.html instead of example.pdf

i added header for the document but no difference.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

You shouldn't have to add your own headers, dompdf will do that for you. There 
is, maybe, some content being sent to the browser before dompdf finishes. 
Typically you would see an error when this happens, but not always. Can you 
save the document created by your script and post it here?
