There is no way of grouping components in VTL IM. We have use cases where we have datasets with multiple MC’s and we want to specify quality values (f.ex. after an estimation) and put in in an AC, it’s not possible to link the AC to specific MC’s. What’s missing is basically what the CSPA LIM refers to as ComponentRelationship (http://www1.unece.org/stat/platform/display/CSPA/Physical+Representation+of+LIM+objects#PhysicalRepresentationofLIMobjects-_Toc438059553 paragraph 77).
