A new set of spells could affect rooms, permanently or for fix number of turns.

Examples:

Furnace (spell): the room is on fire (deals 2 damage / turn) for 2 turns
Spiders nest: webs all over the place, player getting through the room will be stuck for 1 turn (cannot move)
