The doom-modeline-check segment uses the same icon and face — "nf-md-alert_circle_outline" with face doom-modeline-urgent — for both errors found by the checker in the buffer and an error within the checker itself. I find this makes it difficult to distinguish the states by looking at the modeline. There is a number also displayed in the "found errors" case, but that is a little too subtle to remember for me.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to request that different icons be used for these two states rather than rendering them the same. I don't have a preference for which icons are used.
