Finding users by Nick or ID in history of moderator actions. #385

Sometimes users write to us "Why you delete my question/answer?" And ofcourse we dont know what question/answer they talking about.... So now to find this deleted question/answer we must search (ctrl + f) in every single page of our history actions. My idea is to create something to finding users by Nick or ID in history of moderator actions (searching all pages).

Hey @MarLakBrainlyPL

I see the point and the need behind your request and totally agree with having it. However, we can't have it 😓 We technically have no way to filter moderation history by nick or id or anything else. It may be possible to have this functionality with a workaround solution but that will not function and will not give reliable results as expected. Moderation history is a very dynamic place. It can have too many page numbers that might be hard to retrieve since those page numbers aren't static and the moderation entries under a page number are getting switched to a different page after every single moderation. We can't control this from happening and the only way to do that is to stop moderating until finishing the search. Some moderators can't afford waiting for finding actions trough pages which may take like an hour or so.

Here is a weird case. This moderator has 54667 number of pages, and it gets increased at the moment you read this. Imagine that, extension goes through all those pages and tries to compare entries with your query. image

There is also a part connection rejection part where Brainly might intercept connections after requesting too many pages frequently.

As you see, I would like to have this feature but with the current resources, we can't have it 😞

OK, I understand. Thank you @seahindeniz for explanation.
