NSpanel pro with fully kiosk not going to sleep #152

sonoff nspanel pro - last version NStool - 2.2.4

Wake on wave - on Wake on gesture - tap Display sleep - 30 seconds Display sleep mode - screen off.

Still awake and the screen become super hot. What is the bug or what i do wrong

Fully kios by default prevents device sleep. Turn it off in fully kios app.

What are the benefits of running in Fully Kiosk compared with running on HA Comapnion App?

For NS PANEL PRO, for me, no advantage to use FULLY KIOSK with NS PANEL TOOLS. I use FK only on a Samsung tablet because FK have API to get image from camera, play sounds, launch easily other apps, change dashboard,... We can use Android notification to do that but it's more difficult to get same process and some of similar functions (Change dashboard or foreground when an other app has been launched),... Android Notification doesn't work on NS PANEL PRO.

So I think best is HA Companion Minimal APK to NS PANEL PRO. and with MQTT of NS PANEL PRO TOOLS, you can get sensor information and set state of screen. (Automation for Screen ON for example when motion sensor or light is triggered,...), Reboot,...

Great! Thanks for the detailed info. I'll stick to the companion app then. Has been showing great. Now I just need to find tutorials on how to build different screens to show up better on the small nspanel screen.
